The inside of the sandbox is preferably finished with a waterproof foil. The bottom should be permeable to water.
This set includes an EPDM strip for the side walls, and the bottom can be fitted with a water-permeable weed control fabric.

For a safe and low-maintenance sandbox, a well-thought-out construction is essential. This set offers exactly that: the inside of the sandbox is protected on the sides with a durable, waterproof EPDM foil. The EPDM can be attached to the inside using staples or adhesive. This keeps the wooden structure of the sandbox sturdy and dry, significantly extending its lifespan.
The bottom is deliberately left unsealed and is fitted with a water-permeable weed control fabric. This allows (rain)water to drain naturally, prevents puddle formation, and contributes to a clean and dry play environment. In addition, the fabric blocks weeds from growing up from below without hindering drainage.
